From science, to food, to adorable puppies, there’s so much to be excited for in LA in the next couple of months – so we thought we’d share the best with you!
Oh no, this isn’t just another food tasting festival. Foodie Con is something more – think Comic Con for eats. You can find out what the next big food trend is going to be before anyone else – and taste it too! And of course, Angel City Beer will be on site to wash it all down.
At Angel City, we’re celebrating the Year of the Dog all year long. So bring out your doggo to Pups on Parade, where your best friend can strut their stuff in front of all the top dogs in town. Plus, a dog-owner lookalike contest featuring celebrity dog judges, dog portraits, and plenty of sweet pooch swag!
It’s LA against the world. Angel City is teaming up with the Natural History Museum to participate in the City Nature Challenge, where community members from all over the world will work together to identify the most flora and fauna from around their environments. This bio-party is a chance to try to identify as many species as possible. Last year, LA came in third behind Dallas and San Francisco – will we overtake them this time?
The absolute best of the best. LA’s most inventive culinary geniuses are convening at the Rose Bowl for Masters of Taste, where you’ll get to sample food and drink with the chefs and brewers that made them. All while on the iconic field! Plus, the whole thing benefits the Union Station Homeless Services!
Bingo by itself may be for grandma, but add in a few drag queens and it becomes MUCH more fun. Join us for the third annual Bingo for Choice, benefitting Planned Parenthood Los Angeles. Great prizes, great wigs, all for a great cause!
