What’s better than a 10k run? A 10k run WITH FIREWORKS! This weekend the annual L.A. Chinatown Firecracker Race will take place, with a 5k, 10k, and bike race too! Start the race with explosions, and finish it with an ice cold beer!
At it’s start nearly 40 years ago, the Planned Parenthood Food Fare was a small cooking demonstration put on by Julia Child. Now, it’s taken over the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, and filled it with over 150 food vendors. Make sure to grab an Angel City IPA and pair it with some of the best food in LA!
These days, it can be pretty hard to tell fact from fiction. But the live storytelling show Two Truths and a Lie offers a masterclass on lie detection. Each round, you’ll hear three stories from some of LA’s best raconteurs. The catch? One of them is making the whole thing up – and if you catch the liar, you could even some prizes.
