On November 25th, from 12 pm to 8 pm, our annual holiday market, Hoppy Holidays, returns to the Public House!
The market this year falls on Small Business Saturday and we wanted to take this opportunity to highlight some of the small, local businesses that will be selling their wares. These artists and makers put so much passion into what they do and are excited to share their stories and craft with you.
Tiger Moon Designs:
Tiger is a long-time friend of the brewery who has organized our weekly Beer Bazaar that occurs every Sunday at Angel City over the past three years. She is a Native American designer, who is primarily inspired by her culture. Through her travels, she also gathers pieces from the most sacred places in the world making her collection eclectic and full of stories. You can see her work on Instagram @tigermoondesigns.
Covington Watercolors:
Elizabeth has been painting for about ten years and loves the glow and luminosity that is unique to watercolor. Her work is an eclectic mix of portraits, urban, political, architectural, floral and landscapes. In May and June of this year one of her paintings, Mrs Hupmobile, was chosen to hang in DTLA City Hall for three weeks! Her pieces show a unique perspective and personality as art is all about the experience; engaging and challenging the viewer.
The SellOut:
The SellOut is a local brand that focuses on creating high-quality, made-in-America products. Launched in 2013 by Brazilian graphic-designer and soon-to-be filmmaker Márcio de A. Lima, the brand strives to offer fun, timeless designs that can be worn by both men and women and are inspired by “literally everything I like and want to see in the world”.
