Since the moment we were handed the keys to the brewery, it’s been a whirlwind of restoration projects, permitting, inspections, etc. Luckily it didn’t take long to get to the point where we were brewing beer (that started back in April), but we’re still in the process of pulling everything together to open our doors to the public. The anticipated opening day will be sometime in November. Stay tuned.
As for progress, things are moving along relatively smooth. This week we passed our underground plumbing inspection (woohooo!), which was a major hurdle we had to overcome before framing the bathrooms. That project is set to begin in the coming days.
Also on deck is interior design work including a new mustache bar, lighting and retail store.
We’re working on getting our Certificate of Occupancy and Conditional Use Permit, the necessary “golden tickets” that will allow us to open our doors and serve beer to thirsty Angelenos.
We CANNOT WAIT to open our doors to you. Is it November yet??
