The Angel City family holds local independent journalism in high regard, and we’re committed to working with people and organizations that support the unique and dynamic culture of Los Angeles. Given the current changes at LA Weekly, we want to step back and reexamine our relationship until we believe that the new version of LA Weekly shares those same values. After the December 7th print issue we will no longer be advertising with LA Weekly and we are no longer attending the 2017 Sips & Sweets event. We will, however, find an alternative way to honor our support of Food Forward, the non-profit beneficiary of Sips and Sweets that is doing extraordinary work fighting hunger and food waste.
