HYPERFEM is an exhibition that challenges the notion of a fixed “feminine aesthetic” in visual art. Through their unique practices in painting, drawing, fiber arts, and collage, the featured women artists directly or indirectly explore and process the complexities of femininity. Their artworks serve as a catalyst for deeper self-understanding, inviting viewers to question societal paradigms and embark on their own introspective journeys. By celebrating the transformative and transcendent qualities of femininity, HYPERFEM presents a tapestry of diverse perspectives, capturing the essence of womanhood through a range of emotions, experiences, and identities. This exhibition invites viewers to embrace the fluidity of femininity, redefining traditional boundaries and celebrating the empowering and resilient nature of artistic expression.
