Spiced Rye Doppelbock

This warming, reddish-brown Rye Doppelbock was brewed and then aged for 9 months in 2^nd use Rum barrels.  Once we pull it from barrels we let it age briefly on vanilla bean, nutmeg, allspice, cloves, cinnamon and orange peel. Candied and spiced aromas with notes of toffee and brown sugar shine through. The body and mouthfeel are big that carry a rich, slightly bittersweet and a holiday spiced flavor
