Juniper Bay Mandarin

Our newest sour release is Juniper Bay Mandarin.  We added the botanicals Juniper berries, Bay leaves, grains of paradise and Golden Nugget Mandarins to a 10 month old, barrel-aged sour ale that brings about gin-like characteristics. The barrel aging with botanicals, citrus and mixed fermentation cultures add spicy, herbal qualities mingling with an interesting tartness, a touch of fruit, oak and nuanced barnyard character.
