Grenache Grisette 2024

This beer-wine hybrid was created by fermenting California grown Grenache grapes in a Belgian-style Grisette and then barrel-aged for 1 year with sour cultures. Grenache is a type of red grape for wine-making that imparts floral and berry fruit aromas along with black cherry and raspberry flavors. The Belgian characteristics of the Grisette and sour cultures add some lightly spicy notes of black pepper along with some fruity, funky and tart flavors. It’s suitable for both the fans of Belgian beers and wine connoisseurs.
