Welcome to a Dystopian Future where you never know what’s waiting for you in the dark shadows. This Imperial Stout was brewed to be black as night and “Double Barrel” aged for maximum flavor. It spent 1 ½ years in Sam Adams’ ex-Utopias Madeira barrels and then 6 months in Dogfish Head Distillery’s “Let’s Get Lost” whiskey barrels. This big hitter is rich and sweet with flavors of bourbon, vanilla, coffee, chocolate and smoke with a malty, velvety finish. There is no hope in our Dystopian Future.
