Bachelor Chow

Our traditional English Barley wine used only the densely sweet, first running’s of wort for fermenting and once it was done we stored it in a foeder for 7 months. This kind of aging adds oaky notes of vanilla and sherry while also mellowing out the flavors. East Kent Golding and Fuggle hops lend the English hop balance but the malt character of caramel and toffee notes take center stage. It’s a barley wine but it’s practically a meal with its liquid bread like thickness.
