Radical Clothes Swap is a pop-up space where you can donate and swap your unwanted gently used clothing in Los Angeles.
Donation Guidelines
To effectively run Radical Clothes Swap, we ask that everyone please adhere to the donation guidelines when donating clothing to our organization.
How to donate to RCS
We only accept donations during the first 2 hours of an event.
Due to the overwhelming amount of donations we receive at each event, we must limit the donation window to the first 2 hours.
We will accept up to 10 clothing items per person per swap.
We appreciate all the donations we get from our community members, however, we will only accept up to 10 clothing items per person. No shoes or accessories. Seasonal clothing is strongly encouraged.
Gently used clothing is strongly preferred.
In order for our swappers to get the most out of this swap, we ask that you please donate gently-used clothing. We cannot accept any clothing with holes/tears, clothing that is falling apart, or clothing that is too worn out. All clothes must be in wearable condition.
Pre-clean your donations.
The clothing you donate goes straight to our racks, where our community can take them home immediately. It’s essential that the clothes you donate do not have bad smells, stains, or pet hair.
Help keep our swap free.
We pride ourselves in giving FREE CLOTHES FOR ALL, but it comes with a small cost. If you can afford to donate funds to our swap, we accept cash donations and digital donations through Venmo. These donations help us with operating costs: transportation, storage, and other essentials we need to run Radical Clothes Swap. We also sell tote bags, which you can buy at any one of our swaps.
Stay Radical, Swap Thoughtfully
Our community comes first when it comes to hosting our Radical Clothes Swap, which is why we never turn anyone away or limit the amount of clothing you can take. We kindly ask that you respect our donation guidelines so we can continue to host free swaps around Los Angeles.
