Shakespeare in the Shed explores great tales in stripped down, bare-bones, gender-blind, under-90-minute productions at the shed space of Angel City Brewery. Audience members are free to visit the Brewery Public House and grab a drink to enjoy during the performance. We work quickly and freely to discover the essential human stories at the heart of plays too often lost in self-aggrandizing and academic interpretation. The series returns with The Macbeth Variety Hour. A man confronts a power he cannot defeat for a prize he cannot win. A terrific, free Monday evening event.
