Taking our delicious Baltic Porter and aging it for close to a year in 2nd use oak barrels lead to a bigger, more robust version of itself. It is exceptionally dark almost nearing black and pours with an off-white head. The aroma has a heavily roasted character with dark fruit note sand oak goodness. What makes Baltic Porters different than regular porters is that it uses lager yeast to make it slightly sweeter but velvety smooth and less fruity. The flavor has notes of dark chocolate while remaining quite roasty.
