We’re pleased to host the Eurovision Song Contest viewing party to support the Jeffrey Goodman Special Care Clinic through AIDS Lifecycle!
The event, which is open to the public, will begin at noon. A percentage of all our beer sales between noon and 3:00 will go to our friends at AIDS Lifecycle. Food trucks including The Melt Truck and The Bronzed Aussie will be parked outside, along with Peddler’s Creamery who will be donating a percentage of ice cream sales to the event. We hope you can join us!
What is the Eurovision Song Contest? Every year the nations of Europe enter one artist to a competition. This annual event has helped launch the careers of such artists as ABBA and Celine Dion.
AIDS/LifeCycle is the largest fundraising event of its kind in the world, every June 2500 cyclists ride 545 miles over 7 days from San Francisco to Los Angeles (www.aidslifecycle.org). Last year over $12.8 million was raised for HIV/AIDS education, prevention, treatment, and counseling services provided by the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center’s Jeffrey Goodman Specialty Care Clinic and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. 2013 marks the 4th ride for Jason and the 5th for Michael, both of whom as Training Ride Leads have helped recruit and prepare countless other riders.
